Mothers Day

So much...

OK so I have not posted anything on here or my own blog page in FOREVER. But I wanted to post some highlights. Ty was baptized at the end of last year and she is currently in karate... a yellow belt. Mckinzi and Brayden are in Archery and took first place in there competition today. They are awesome at it. Mckinzi also graduated from the DARE program and read her essay there. Brayden started baseball....his team sucks but he's pretty good. At least he likes it. Saddly Oakley is doing nothing new...except learning a ton in school. She does really good at reading and is SO ready for the first grade. Check out my page for more and pics :) Love you all!!!

Tilby Times

We recently went on a hike in Snow Canyon State Park to a Lava Tube. It was a giant hole in the ground and we climbed in and hiked back into the tube "cave" and did a bit of spelunking. We had our flashlights and explored a few nook and crannies. We had a great time.

Mountain Meadow Massacre Site

While dad and mom were here in Southern Utah, we drove out to the Mountain Meadow Massacre site. It was interesting to read the stories, see the actual sites, and learn more of what happened. We attended a lecture that evening in the Tabernacle from an author who has written a new book on the subject. It was very enlightening. We had a great week together.

Gratitude in Southern Utah

Well, it was a beautiful day so Sarah and I decided to take a hike on Paradice Rim. It was beautiful and so I am sharing some pictures. Mark had to work today and put things back together after his business was broken into and robbed last night. Next week we'll take him to Johnsons Canyon so he wont feel left out.

I am thankful for beautiful things to see and do in the outdoors, health to be able to do it, someone to go with, digital cameras, sunlight on my face, water to quench my thirst, eyes to see God's beauty, legs to walk, a warm home, food to fill my tummy, a soft bed with warm covers, a job to provide necessities, my bike, my car, a good book, a good movie, fresh fruit, kisses (especially from my hubby!), hugs, sweet smelling flowers, friends, family, grand children, dad's stories, mom's rice pudding, and YOU!

I have a challenge...

Just thought I would share

In my home we started a new thing. Every week one of the kids (or mom or dad) will write there favorite scripture on the white board we have where everyone can see it. Mckinzi wrote this scripture that I really liked.

Halloween

This year for Halloween I did not have my children with me. Mckinzi was able to go to Vernal to her dads for a week and the other girls were with there dad and Brayden was with his mom. So Jason and I did the trunk or treat with our ward and invited Carmen, Bg and Keeley to di it with us. It was a lot of fun. I have a huge ward so out three bags of candy went really fast. We did not stay that long.... I think we were the first to leave LOL. Anyway I did get my kids all dressed up in there costumes for a Halloween party earlier in the week. Mckinzi was a Harajuku girl, Tyelar was a witch, and Oakley was a cheerleader. I have Miss Lilya in there too. They all looked so cute. Here are there pictures.
